OUR STORY
Our campground is open from spring to fall and has been in operation since 1992.

We offer 40 sites with full hookups, 30amp power, water and sewer. All sites have a firepit and picnic table. Our sites are 65’ long, capable of handling larger RV’s. We offer a playground with swings and lots of room for children to run and play.

Devonshire Beach is less than a 5-minute drive away. It offers great swimming with a beautiful sandy beach and boating opportunities. And the sunsets will not disappoint!

We have covered fish-cleaning stands which is a great place to meet people and talk about the hot fishing spots. We have a beautiful riverfront deck with chairs and umbrellas to relax and enjoy the view.

Bald eagles, ospreys which frequent the area feeding on the abundant fish in the river. As well as ducks, geese and sometimes pelicans, making an appearance.

We have boat docks for mooring your boats during your stay. The public boat launch is located right beside us. Fishing has been great in the lake as well as several areas to fish from shore.

We offer very nice and clean, coin operated showers.

We sell dry firewood in totes or bulk totes as well as bait, ice and a small selection of tackle.

For accommodations we have a one bedroom, riverfront cabin with a nice covered deck and a beautiful view of the river. We also have a two-bedroom loft, with a full kitchen and a shower but it is not available for rent at this time. Both have satellite TV’s and BBQ’ and firepits.
THE campground
We built our campground in 1992 and we named it after our border collie Norm who loved it out here. He was fond of bringing you a stick and once you threw it, you were a friend for life.
Located on 8 acres, we are a small, quiet RV park offering all the amenities you would like for your camping experience.
Our boat docks offer the convenience of leaving your boat in the water or you can pull it out daily at the public boat launch which is located next to us.
In 2019 we added a beautiful 20’ x 60’ nautical themed observation deck located on the river for all to enjoy. Come down and bring your morning coffee (baileys optional) to enjoy the sunrise and relax and observe several species of birds including ospreys, bald eagles, pelicans, ducks and geese and numerous shore birds. Or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening as you watch the sun sink down into the lake, reflecting on the haul of fish that day.
Co-mingle with the other fishermen at the two covered fish cleaning stations with running water to swap fishing tales and look at the pictures on the new “Bragging Board”.
Top it off with a hot shower in our nicely decorated modern showers.
